The mission of the PRIPARE project was to facilitate the application of a privacy and security-by-design methodology to contribute to the advent of unhindered usage of Internet against disruptions, censorship and surveillance, support its practice by the ICT research community to prepare for industry practice; and to foster risk management culture through educational material targeted at a diverse group of stakeholders.
PRIPARE consisted of a consortium of eleven partners with strong links with the privacy community (data protection authorities and policy makers, privacy advocacy organisations, technology, engineering). Trilateral Research Ltd. contributed heavily to WP1 (methodology handbook) and led the dissemination work for WP6.
In December 2015, PRIPARE released the following material:
A set of documents describing the practice of privacy engineering, covering activities such as privacy risk management, requirement analysis, design strategies, maintenance and compliance.
Client: European Unions Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under Grant Agreement No. ICT-610613
