Kush Wadhwa

Kush Wadhwa is a Chief Executive Officer at Trilateral Research.

Kush leads the Trilateral team, providing strategic direction for research and innovation across a diverse set of technology, policy, and socio-economic areas of expertise.

He directs teams that specialise in research and advisory services focused upon data sciences, including big data, data analytics, predictive analytics, social media analytics, and data-driven innovation.  His work in these areas is complemented by his prior work in social science focused projects related to privacy and data protection, security, crisis and disaster management, and by his work in the private sector in technology development organisations where he has extensive experience in business modelling, service/product management and fulfillment, and innovation management.

Kush has coordinated and participated in several European projects in FP7 and H2020. He has worked on system integration projects for government entities, alongside system integrators (e.g., Raytheon, Honeywell, Accenture, Northrup, etc.) for critical infrastructure protection, biometrics, security and surveillance projects.

Kush has more than a decade of private sector experience in guiding young entrepreneurs in start-up companies, commanding a strong knowledge of venture capital and private equity models and markets.

Research Background

Kush has provided consulting services to the European Commission, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the US Department of Homeland Security, the UK Home Office, and myriad other government organisations and inter-governmental and humanitarian bodies (NATO, UNHCR, OECD, American Red Cross).

He has worked in product management roles across diverse software development and deployment areas for large-scale private sector clients (e.g., Pfizer, AIG, Hoechst, Google, MasterCard, amongst others) including projects for business intelligence, data analytics, financial systems, ERP and CRM suites, enterprise security, and web and mobile applications.
