Kay Wallace

Kay Wallace is Senior Policing Specialist at Trilateral Research.

Kay is currently working on the CESIUM project, to advance exploitation risk assessment practices in public and private sector organisations, by applying machine learning techniques to the analysis of big data to prevent and combat children exploitation. There is a widespread need to better understand risk and develop better early intervention strategies and CESIUM offers this opportunity. Professionals are able to better apply their ‘professional judgement’ using the CESIUM product, based on the most relevant information, in order to intervene in the exploitation of a child at the earliest opportunity.

Kay worked in policing for 30 years and most of her career has been centred around child safeguarding and child exploitation. She brings this experience into the CESIUM team, to assist in developing and informing the project’s aims.
