Corinna works as part of the marketing team overseeing research communications and leading the dissemination, exploitation and communication of several EU funded projects, including COPKIT, EERAdata, and SOTER.
She has several years’ worth of experience in science communication and EU project management, which she gained from the Project Manager position she held before joining Trilateral. She has participated in projects dealing with a wide range of topics ranging from tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, nanoscience and nanotechnologies, sustainable energy and mobility planning for smarter cities and electric mobility, and most recently security, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
Corinna holds a BSc in Molecular Biology and an MSc in Functional Genomics from the University of Trieste, Italy.
She has worked as an intern at ICGEB (International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology), Trieste, Italy for a year where she carried out research for her dissertation Selection of antigen-specific B cells for the construction of recombinant antibodies.
She has substantial knowledge of molecular biology, genetics, immunology as well as a good understanding of cancer, diabetes, and allergy.
In 2012 she attended a Creative Writing course at Middlesex University, London and since has worked as a literary translator. She has recently translated the published collection of short stories by Cristina Marchesan, “Noi, Persone Speciali – We, Special People”.
