Marion Makana is a Research Development Coordinator and a team member of STRIAD. Marion drives the development of our commercial unit and coordinates research from inter-disciplinary teams for the delivery of our services and products.
Marion’s background is in commercial development, business acquisition and expansion in the Bio-tech Industry. Her contributions extend to the international development and humanitarian sector having negotiated and influenced policy and program processes within policy making organs such as the Governing Council in the development of policy, country projects and programme management with the Permanent Mission of Kenya to United Nations as a First Secretary attached to UN-Habitat.
Marion holds an interdisciplinary master’s degree in International Relations having completed her thesis by establishing the impacts of EU and US policies for the agricultural sector and its effects in the international political economy sector of the East African region. Marion holds a BA in Business Administration, finance and Banking from the University of London Guildhall, having completed a study on the role of Information Technology in the Decision-Making Process.
