TRIPS MobilitySurvey

Mobility Survey – Redesigning accessible transport systems

We are in a period of redesigning and reinvesting in urban transport systems in European cities. New transport systems such as micro-transit, motorbike taxis, e-scooters, bike sharing, cycle Lanes, cable cars and mobility hubs are becoming increasingly popular.

According to experts, these solutions may solve many of today’s transport issues in cities, but are they truly accessible for everyone? How can we design them so that transport provides equal opportunities for all people to travel independently in the future?

TRIPS project aims to place disabled users in the driving seat of innovation by involving them early in the design of transport systems, in order to improve accessibility and mobility for all.

A disability-centric, end-user approach calls for an in-depth understanding of user requirements.

We, therefore, invite you to give us your honest opinion and thoughts in the TRIPS Mobility Survey which will help us better understand your needs, enabling us to design more accessible transport systems.

Trilateral Research – working with end-users

Trilateral collaborates with disabled users to gain a thorough understanding of users’ divergent needs with respect to mobility and their attitudes towards future mobility solutions.

Trilateral also works with end-users to develop and deploy a Mobility Divide Index (MDI) that takes into account users’ requirements around mobility obstacles that need to be addressed in the development of an inclusive mobility solution.
